This Rollei Rolleicord Model III is a medium format twin lens reflex film camera that uses 120 film and produces an image that is 6x6cm
The Rolleicord III was first released in 1950 and features a more advanced film transport mechanism than the Rolleicord II, with no the ruby window on the film door. After the first frame is aligned via a start mark on the film plane, film advance is achieved by pushing in a button in the center of the advance knob, which locks automatically at each subsequent frame. There is no double exposure prevention mechanism.
This model has a Schneider-Kreuznach 75mm f3.5 Xenar Lens.
